The game kit for AI agents

Your coding agent writes the game. opengamekit gives it the hands to make the art, sound, 3D and video, and the eyes to check every asset before it ships. Works with Claude Code, Codex and any agent with a shell.

npm i -g opengamekit && ogk skill install

Every sprite, background and sound in this scene was generated and processed by ogk. See the commands.

Raw AI output is not a game asset

Backgrounds come baked in, frames do not line up, sounds start with silence, models are too heavy. ogk turns generations into files your engine can load, and tells the agent what is wrong.

Generate anything

Images, sprites, animation frames, icons, UI, backgrounds, SFX, music, 3D (GLB) and video. Reference images keep a whole game in one style.

Make it engine-ready

Background removal, chroma key, trimming, seamless tiling, sprite sheets with atlases, loudness and seamless audio loops, compression.

Check before shipping

ogk check flags halos, holes, cropped subjects, silence, clipping and heavy meshes, and renders a preview the agent looks at.

Facts, not prompt templates

The agent keeps the creative control. ogk tells it what each model can do, and records every asset in a manifest.

Ask your agent. It runs this.

"Replace the placeholder rectangles with a slime hero, a hop animation, a jump sound and looping music."

# one approved hero locks the style for everything else
ogk gen image "a round green slime hero, side view" --name hero
ogk process rmbg assets/images/hero.png --out assets/style/hero.png

# 4-frame animation from the hero, keyed, sliced and packed on one baseline
ogk gen image "4-frame hop strip, magenta background" --style --model nano-banana
ogk process sprite strip.png --chroma '#ff00ff' --no-trim --out clean.png
ogk sheet slice clean.png --frames 4 && ogk sheet pack frames/*.png --trim --height 192 --out hero-hop.png

# sound, made game-ready
ogk gen sfx "short springy boing" --seconds 0.5 --name jump
ogk process audio assets/sfx/jump.mp3 --trim-silence --loudness -14 --out jump.mp3

# look before shipping
ogk check assets/sprites/* --preview preview.png

What the checks catch

Four slime frames on a shared baseline
An AI-made strip, keyed, sliced and packed on a shared baseline, with a Phaser/TexturePacker atlas.
A sprite with a dark halo, then cleaned
An edit model left a dark halo. ogk check caught it; ogk process rmbg cleaned it.

Works with your agent

A CLI plus an agent skill. Anything that can run a shell command can use it.
